BRAZING ISN'T JUST A CAPABILITY. IT'S OUR SPECIALTY.

Unlike general metal processors that offer brazing as one of many services, brazing has been at the core of Rogers Metal Services for decades.
As one of the Midwest's specialized brazing companies, Rogers provides the equipment, experience, technical knowledge, and production capacity needed for demanding brazing applications—from prototypes to high-volume production.

WHAT IS FURNACE BRAZING?

Furnace brazing is a metal joining process in which assembled components and brazing filler metal are heated in a controlled furnace. The filler metal melts and flows into precisely designed joint clearances through capillary action, while the base metals remain solid.

Because the entire assembly is heated uniformly, furnace brazing is particularly effective for components containing multiple joints, complex geometries, or production volumes requiring repeatable results.

Unlike welding, brazing does not melt the parent metals, which can provide several important advantages:

  • Minimal distortion

  • Excellent Joint Strength

  • Leak-tight assemblies

  • Dissimilar metal joining

  • Clean cosmetic appearance

  • Excellent repeatability
